Where to get Formalin

I have a friend and seems his clowns have broklynella, anyone knows where to get Formalin besides the well diluted from petco?
We've been reading about treating the tank and seems to be "reef safe" but also doing some reading, Formalin is highly toxic too.
I suggested a quarantine tank and the equipment no to be used again for reef aquaria

Thx for the help

Years back there was talk og Formalin being banned in CA and since less and less have been available. Not sure if they banned a certain % or what but it's a little harder to find now. Some of the major commercial suppliers don't offer it any more. Try http://www.fishyfarmacy.com/products2.html (Forma-Green)

Thx Gresh.
He had three clowns, one already died and seems it was the carrier of the disease since it was a new addition to the tank.
I read about toxicity of it but then again on some forums people stated it's "reef safe" to which it makes no sense being toxic, highly.
I personally wouldn't risk anything in the tank to such product. I'll give him a tank to set as hospital, hopefully they make it.

Thx

Went reading some posts on different forums, some stated it was "OK" to use on reef systems, just to make sure to do it after lights out so the polyps are closed. I know is highly toxic and can be found as 3% on the shelf; that's the reason I suggested him to use a hospital tank and do the same as with copper run equipment, label it and never use it again for a reef system.
Myself am scared of using anything that might nuke my system out of desperation; for instance, when I spotted ich on a tang when I started, bought copper med but has never been used after reading and reading on it; I was just desperate to have my fish healthy.

DO NOT USE IT IN YOUR REEF SYSTEM!!!!!!! Formalin not only nukes micro fauna, at the same time it drops your DO.

IME, dips work the best, Kordon makes a pure formalin without malachite. Be very patient, don't go too crazy with the dips and feed quality foods, you'd be surprised at how well clowns recover when given proper care.

Thx

I'll call him today to check on the clowns and try to have him set the quarantine/hospital tank for this and any future events.
