Neptune Aquatics

Willie’s Last Aquarium Build

I don’t want to hijack Will’s thread, so I’ll keep it short. I think that koi pond is way too big for a QT setup even for your amount of fish. Keep it simple method is best. QT setups you’ll need to change the water every few weeks due to the ammonia spike. Changing 60-80g of water is not ideal. Check out HumbleFish for more methods of QT.
Hijack. No worries if it helps others. All good

I would call around, such as Kenny at high tide, and see if you can get the QT done for you as part of a next round of getting fish in. No idea if he/someone would do that, but even if they charge a bunch for it, it'll likely be cheaper than repeatedly changing upwards of 127gallons of saltwater and heating it and pumping water through and running through the chemicals and and...

Likely for more fish to survive that way too.

HTS sells you a qt clean fish...
But you have no idea what Kenny’s success rate is!
He may start with 10 copperband butterflies, but only manage to sell 1 healthy clean specimen
Totally agree. Lots of other stuff plays into it too. Meds, salt , energy, knowledge , death etc. QTing is definitely brutal and not for the faint of heart. It’s definitely depressing.

Kenny is pretty open with his success rate and it's very high compared to other individuals or businesses. Hence why he always has so many copperbands for sale.
