Our mission

Tank of a lifetime 215 in wall

Fantastic Tank Jar!

I am gonna be picking all your brains on how to keep SPS. I have only kept a Birdsnest before. It did amazing until I replaced my MH bulb. Died within days. I was able to keep a couple small frags from the bottom and they are doing nicely again. Will be 3-6 months before I get my tank up and running. I'll be in touch. ;)

There is no substitute for regular water changes and regular maintenance.
Due to my own lack of the above I have lost my Oregon Tort and my main 20k Lokani colony.
Others have suffered.
Montis seem tough and are fine.

All is well again (for now).
Things are on the mend.
Corals are growing like weeds again.

SUCH A BUMMER!
Today my beautiful orangeback wrasse rammed his way out of the tank through a 1/8 inch gap where the cover meets the center brace.
I guess I need to add some weight to the cover so no one else can lift it.
RIP

That's a bummer! So frustrating when you lose a good fish this way. You know that fish took the time to figure out how to get out. It looked well fed and obviously loved. Sorry for the loss. But it also means that you have room for a new fish ,)
