Also, I did the CC route for several weeks and saw no lessening of pests. I break them in various ways and hit them with the laser if I cannot break them.

We do not have evidence that this is actually what is happening, nor its efficacy. Given that we have about the same numbers of reports of it working and of it not working, I squint.
