August BAR meeting - Quarantine for Reef Systems - Aug. 12

I have multiple branching alien eyes, and a few colonies. Most of mine are in the furthest spots from my lights, which would place the PAR below 2" off a 96w PC, much lower PAR in fact. The key to success with any LPS, is feeding.

I'm using a quad 96 over a 10g. AC350, and no skimmer. Won the light at a New Alameda frag swap raffle last year :)

I've always kept the LPS off to the side of this light when it was on a 4" frag tray. And now on the 10g, I keep the LPS at the bottom.

LPS are little piggies, and love to eat. Have some lords, chalice, and blastos in this tank. They love Rotifeast, and get all fat from it. Good setup for LPS rescue too.

Heheh, nah... it's just that I never tried putting chalice way close to these lights. It just didn't seem right :)

Hmmm... I should put some Branching Alien Eye into DBTC :)

Since this is a "Quarantine" meeting. Will 10g tanks be on the raffle prize list? ($10 at Petclub!)

Oh, and I think nametags with RC handles would be handy. My 2 cents.
