From what I could tell looking at the ads last week, it looked pretty dismal. Nothing that you can't find at different times of the year online.

And about 20 people in line at Fry's ~5pm today.

Some stuff is.. Hahhah.. I went to vacaville for some cycling shorts and stuff.. List price 215 marked down to 74.99 for the sale with an additional 40% off for the early bird special. So like $45 for some really nice shorts

Hahahahahah. Me either. I drove around this morning just to observe the mayhem.. At 4:30 there must have been at least 200 people lined up out in front of walmart.. Probably 3-400 in front of sears... and about the same at best buy.... People are out there doing there part trying to help the economy...

Its alright I don't do black Friday, if I'm lucky I go walking early in the morning (obviously I'm not lucky today ) thought about buying some stuff online since phishybusiness.com has 15% off dry goods... nice Vortech.... oooh but then I realized local stores might give me 15% off on the down-low anyways, sure I pay taxes, but hey.. California is broke...

As someone who worked in retail let me give you the low down.

You raise the MSRP 15% and then offer 25% off, sure there a savings but not unbelive amounts like ppl think.

The deal of the day seems to be the 32" LCD from Walmart for 388.00 which sounds like it is a soild deal but it's some chinese knock off that will break in a year.
