I don't know.. It takes about 30 seconds to rinse... Not sure that will effect anything...

Tony, that is a good idea. I guess I will save a bucket of waste water next time ..

Haven't tried the new carbon yet. Stuff I had before was pretty fine and had plenty of dust stuck on it. I've rinsed for 1min+ before
