In most cases uv and ozone should not be necessary.

How old is the tank? How much you feeding? What are you dosing?

The system is old but I just restart is since Ausgt 1st 2019. I feed twice a day, once with pellets and once with frozen food. I dose two parts Cal and Alk.

I use sock but I rotate between felt and mesh.

It’s gotta be bacterial bloom then I would think.
