light for canopy?

Canopy is about 10" high I want to add kessils, but they're too thick. They'll be about 2" above water...no good. Do I have to go with T5? I'm looking for LED strips that has shimmer effect.

If you're hell bent on LEDs then there are plenty of "flat"(er) options out there.

LED strip doesn’t give you that, you would need something more power.
