Old console to new tv, adapter?

Ok so got an old Nintendo Game Cube, and just got a new 4k TV, unfortunately the 4k TV only has HDMI and coax as inputs. I'm wondering if something like this

Also would it look like absolute ass? I think the game cube is 480p resolution, which is... yeah hurts my head just thinking about it.

I used one of those a couple years ago when I found my old Atari 2600 and my NES. Worked well. And for looking like ass, everything from back then looked like that.

I swear Nintendo needs to make a different proprietary connector for every console they make, can't they simply adjust to a standard, RCA jacks, or HDMI ports.
