Do you need to do anything to these to prep them for using them to hold RODI water?

As long as they have the NSF label they're fine, you can give them a quick hosing out if you are nervous though.

Steve, if you're looking for a good saltwater mixing container I'll have a standard brute (thick walled, gray, larger size with lid) available very shortly. I was using it to hold the dry coral for the new build but that has been mostly taken out so I could remove the rest of the pieces if needed.
