Well some of you know that I lost my giant squamosa clam, but I didn't have the heart to throw the shell away. So I am asking for suggestions on what to do with it. Its 7 inches tall and about 12 wide. Let me know what you think.
Keep it. I have heard you can put a new clam into the shell (no wait...hear me out). When the new clam puts it's threads out it will attach to the new shell. You can move the clam around the tank without damaging it.
any more thoughts, the shell is still one piece since I haven't seperated it yet. Its really large to put back in the tank, but I will keep it in mind.
There you go. Split the shells, mount on nice pieces of wood - bookends for your library of reef books
