New In-Wall Tank

Its been a while since I posted a thread on here so im just tapping in..

Finally settled in at my new house. After weeks of renovating I have my in-wall tank set up and ready for water. Wanted to share my progress.

Day 1
Ripped out a closet in the hallway to the living room by the main entrance. In back of the closet is where the Garage is located, perfect for a sump cabinet and access to the inside of the tank. I demolished the whole back wall of the closet to give me some room to play with different dimensions of what tank size i should go with.

Day 2
Decided to go with a 190g determined by the measurements maximizing the full potential space. Built the stand first using 2x4s (dry wood), hinges, 3" bolt screws and 16 gauge nail gun. I started to build around it creating studs for the dry wall.

Day 3
From the garage I placed the Tank right on top and slid it into place. Perfect fit ;)

Day 4
Added electrical wiring to install plug sockets to the top of the tank and to the bottom sump area. (Both outs are piggy backing off a main GFCI outlet) also drilled 4" drain for inside of the sump just in case of flood

Day 5
Dry-Wall added to the "Wall Side"covered the tank with foam pads to make sure glass doesnt get scratched. used joint compound to seal before painting.Once everything was dry I added window molding. Cut 45 degrees for the frame look. Once the wall side was done. Nothing else needed to be done on this side. Everything is done on the garage side from this point on.

Marineland deep dimension tank? Looks very similar to one

Love those stainless steel doors, good luck keeping them looking nice, I'm currently in a losing battle with my refrigerator (all because my wife just HAD to have stainless steel... she found out keeping it clean ain't easy :D)

Still waiting on the PVC materials and panworld Pump for the mixing station. I was being very indecisive with the return pump for the sump. I just ordered that lastnight. Went with a DC diablo pump by reef octopus. well see how that goes. ill document more soon :)

The Chem-Containers should have been in already but the damn storm delayed all the orders. Lol Im probably going to document the RODI station on a separate thread.
