Kris’s Kensington reefer gold torch

Why'd they all die?

Agreeing with Coral Reefer's response above.

On a more serious note, though: most torches are pretty hardy, though (anecdotally) I think they're the least-hardy euphylia. Gold torches are known to be temperamental even among torches. Couple that with some of the heads that were fragged dying during recovery (IIRC, part of the reason the club opted for the new Gryphon band saw), and there's a significant bottleneck for this coral.

Which is a shame because DAMN it is beautiful.

I got a couple more heads of this today. Really hope to get these into good hands. Not first come first served. Feel free to express interest, don’t be upset if you don’t get picked.
Good thing we bought the gryphon xl...it barely fit

Interested, and thanks for doing this! Is this torch a fast grower?

I’d love to have one!!

I just ordered some green tipped torches, but if I am picked to get this one, I will start a DBTC for the green torches.

Getting torches was cost prohibitive for me, till @IOnceWasLegend started the group buy.

That would be a great way to get more euphyllia to new BAR members.

:)

Oh is it? @evannn and I have the exact same tank.
Do you have any pictures of the frags?

I have almost one full quarter kept reserved for a torch.

Unless of course you are looking for people who specifically have large tanks.

Thanks!
